Follow these steps in sequence. Skipping ahead is the most common cause of registration errors and missed deadlines.
Visit bteup.ac.in's 'Notice Board' or 'Examination' section. BTEUP publishes the per-cycle calendar approximately 6 weeks before each cycle starts. Specific 2026 dates may shift from year to year. Third-party sites often republish stale or guessed dates — go to the source.
Practicals happen at YOUR institute (BIPE Phoolpur), conducted by your faculty + an external BTEUP examiner. They typically run 2 weeks BEFORE the theory exam window opens. BIPE's exam cell publishes the practical timetable to students about 3 weeks ahead via the notice board and WhatsApp groups.
Each branch has different subjects per semester. The BTEUP timetable lists exam dates per subject code. Cross-check against YOUR registered subjects (visible on your admit card or BTEUP student portal). Mark each date in your calendar — missing one is a backlog.
Most diploma students underestimate the exam-prep crunch. Once you know your first exam date, work backwards in 5-day study blocks per subject. Across BIPE's four branches each semester carries six or seven subjects, theory and lab together, dropping to five in the lightest final semester. Start serious revision 4-6 weeks before Day 1 of the cycle.
Results typically release about six weeks after the cycle closes. If you have a backlog (failed subject or shortage of attendance), the supplementary cycle gives you a re-attempt. Supplementary registration is fee-paid and time-bound — usually a 2-week window starting ~1 week after main results.
BTEUP allows you to apply for grace marks (small mark addition to pass) or revaluation (paid re-check of your answer sheet) within ~3 weeks of result declaration. Grace marks have category-based thresholds; revaluation costs ~₹500 per subject and takes 8-12 weeks. Your branch in-charge at BIPE can advise on whether either is worth pursuing.
Only on bteup.ac.in's official Notice Board or Examination section. The board uploads the per-cycle date sheet about 6 weeks before each cycle starts. Do NOT rely on dates listed on Careers360, Shiksha, or aggregator sites — those frequently lag or guess.
Roughly. Odd-semester theory usually runs in November (sometimes shifted by a few weeks due to elections, public holidays, or pandemic-style disruptions). Even-semester theory usually runs from late April into May. Exact dates float year to year — always check the current-cycle calendar before planning.
Inform BIPE's exam coordinator IMMEDIATELY — same day, with documentation (medical certificate, family emergency proof). BTEUP allows attempt-shifting in genuine cases via the supplementary cycle. Your fee for the missed paper isn't refundable, but the attempt isn't lost — it's deferred. Without notification + documentation, the missed paper counts as an absent / backlog.

Held twice a year — January, after the December odd-semester result, and July, after the June even-semester result (for even-sem backlogs). Supplementary registration is fee-paid (~₹200-500 per subject), and the window is short (~2 weeks). Track BTEUP notifications carefully.
