Log in at jeecup.admissions.nic.in and download your rank card. It shows your All-India rank and (if applicable) your category rank. That is your real, official rank — no third-party 'predictor' is more accurate than the rank card itself.
Read the All-India Group A rank against the bands above. If you have a category rank (SC/ST/OBC/EWS), remember reserved seats open at higher rank numbers — your effective reach is wider than the General band suggests.
Find your band. Below ~50,000 you can choose by interest. Between 50,000 and ~1,30,000 you have real margin at BIPE across branches. Up to ~1,69,000 you are still in range — but apply early, because branch availability tightens in the later counselling rounds.

No reliable one. JEECUP doesn't publish a fixed marks-to-rank table, because rank depends on each year's normalisation — the number of candidates and the difficulty of the paper both move it. Any site claiming an exact 'marks to rank' conversion is guessing. The only accurate rank is the one on your official rank card.
In 2025-26 every Group A branch at BIPE 4455 closed between roughly 1,47,000 and 1,69,000. So if your Group A All-India rank is under ~1,30,000 you have a real shot at any branch; under ~1,00,000 you have margin even in later rounds; under 50,000 you can choose purely by interest. Lateral entry (Group K) is far tighter — roughly 1,750–2,850.
CSE (BTEUP 118) is BIPE's most competitive branch and still closed at rank 1,68,929 in 2025-26 (up from 1,48,127 the year before). A Group A rank under ~1,40,000 gives a comfortable shot at CSE; closer to the closing rank, secure it in an early counselling round rather than waiting.
